piercing sandstone slabs

connecting Heaven and Earth 

Sun Energy 
nuclear fusion core
gamma rays collide with electrons in Atoms
releasing energy as photons 
creating visible rays of light

lands on my final morsel 
of Double Chocolate Cookie 
warming the last bite  
the size of a quarter

Last bite sits silent

casting a shadow
like a rock in Zen Garden
